Every Urban Village Will Have Breaker As Flood Mitigation

Each urban villages in Jakarta needs concrete destroyer or breaker. It is aimed to speed the water channel normalization since the channel is obstructed by a wall or building.

He has instructed Jakarta Dept. of Water Management to add the equipment. "We plan to buy the equipment. Each unit price is Rp 100 million," he added.

Moreover, the utilities also obstruct the water channel much. The utilities such telecommunication cable should be planted under 130 cm of depth. In fact, it was only planted between 10-20 cm.
