Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, stated that Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to face rainy season which is predicted to pour in December. Plenty of channel and river dredging project has been intensified.

Besides dredging the channel and river, city administration also checked the pump at several pump houses. Broken pumps have been repaired.

"Projects to anticipate rainy season have been run. We're ready to face rainy season," he said, Wednesday (11/4).

Based on the data, he ensured that the puddle along rainy season can be minimized. But, he can not explain the percentage.

"It's difficult to say, but our effort to anticipate rainy season is 100 percent," he added.

Previously, his side had mapping the prone to puddle area after rain poured on Monday (11/2) night. After that, Dept. of Water Management directly runs the improvement.
