Preventing Piles, Dry Trash Must Be Burned

Trash management should also be handled by sub-district and urban village sides. It is purposed to prevent trash being piled up for more than 3 days.

"I've instructed sub-district and urban village heads in all over South Jakarta to burn dry trash. Currently Kebayoran Lama Sub-District Head is looking for the land," said South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi, Wednesday (11/4).

He continued, it aims to anticipate trash piles in residential. "Don't let trash be piled up for more than 3 days. As it can cause some diseases," he uttered.

Trash Piles in Ciracas Cleaned

According to him, currently there is still no special location to burn the trash. But some temporary locations such as in Gandaria Selatan , Gandaria Utara, Petukangan Selatan, Pesanggrahan and Rawa Barat Urban Village are already available.

"There should be a way to handle trash in the area," he asserted.
