Trash Piling Up in Jalan Pemuda's Connecting Channel

The connecting channels that installed alongside Jalan Pemuda, Jati Urban Village, Pulogadung Sub-District, strewn by trash. It caused water flow hindered and is potential for puddle during rainy season.

Even, there are found sacks containing mud which is used as a buffer for the channel that has collapsed.

Head of Jati Urban Village, Dewi Purnamasari stated she has coordinated with Water Management Sub-Department to handle it. While channel normalization, is being conducted on south side of Jalan Pemuda.

"This matter has been forwarded to the Water Management Sub-Department. Thus far, the normalization has been conducting on south side, that is under coordination whether it also needs to be done on north side or not,” she told, Monday (11/2).

She went on the say that the Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU) officer currently focused on unoptimal channels in residential area.

“We're trying to coordinate with Water Management Sub-Department to minimize trash volume on Jalan Pemuda,” she uttered.
