7 City Forests Filed to Be Planted With Spotlight

The East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Marine, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity (KPKP) proposed spotlight instalation at seven city forests and three green open spaces.

Bayu Sari Hastuti, head of the agency, those seven city forests are Rawa Dongkal City Forest in Cibubur, Aneka Elok City Forest in Penggilingan, Kopassus City Forest in Cijantung, UKI City Forest and Cawang, Pondok Kelapa City Forest, Duku Kramat Jati City Forest, and Ujung Menteng City Forest.

Next, the proposed green open spaces are Sawah Abadi on Jalan Inspeksi KBT Cakung Timur Urban Village, Kebun Toga Munjul in Cipayung, and Cagar Buah Condet in Balekambang Urban Village.

"Those ten locations are often visited by the residents, or near with the residential," she said, Wednesday (11/4).

The proposed spotlight installation ia vary, from two to six spots.

"At this time, the installation is prioritized at Sawah Abadi and Ujung Menteng," she added.

Meanwhile, Saukani, Head Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy, admitted will conduct survey at those locations.

"We must check the electricity installation and PLN network," he stated.
