North Jakarta Administration together with one private company planted 300 trees at Raw Malang City Forest, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Ahmad Ya'la, North Jakarta Secretary, said there are 3,100 trees have been planted there.

"Mostly are ketapang, mahoni, trembesi, kemiri and bintaro. There is also jogging track," he said, Wednesday (10/7).

It is hoped the city forest would be used as sport and recreational facility for surrounding citizens.

"Thanks for the company who joint in this program. We invite other companies to do the same thing," he added.

Hasanudin (55), the forest caretaker, admitted that the forest is already greener since the trees have growth high.

He requested to ad more facilities such as gazebo, public toilet, and seats to attract more visitors.
