Two Markets Received SNI Certificate

The National Standardization Agency (BSN) awarded Manggis and Pondok Indah Markets that have applied various standards of the building until installation of all  building facilities that deserve for a certificate of Indonesian National Standard (SNI).

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat acknowledged that all markets will be revitalized soon to compete with modern market.

We wanna build integrated market with flat. Where market's ground floor would have flat. Its quality will be guarranted based on standard qualification,” he said at National Quality Week of 2015 Indonesia Quality Expo in JCC Senayan, Monday (11/9).

According to him, the standard application is essential to increase the existing market productivity. But there will be no additional new market, but focus first on revitalization.

“We also asked PD Pasar Jaya to prepare waste sorting between organic and inorganic. Its count tool will also be provided soon,” he finished.
