CCTV will be Added to Control Trash Thrower

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama, planned to provide more closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. The effort purposes to watch and control trash thrower.

We will install the CCTV in places that prone to trash thrower

The CCTVs that will be installed in waste-disposal areas will be connected to local urban village offices to be watched by officer. If the trash throwers are detected, they will be sanctioned.

Ahok asserted that trash problem is still one of the complicated problems in Jakarta. Moreover, the trash will pile up in water channel after rainy season ends. Surely, it would lead to puddles.

He also asked headmen to install CCTV in criminal-prone areas.

“CCTV must be propagated to prevent crime action,” he finished.
