Development Should Consider About Social & Environment Aspects

Property development in Jakarta should consider about the social aspect and the environmental carrying capacity. If not, land subsidence in the city would get faster.

It should be consistent, if it's green land, don't change it to be settlement. And if it's for trading, don't make it as residence

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat stated that city arrangement should be adjusted with designation of the determined spatial area.

According to him, Jakarta is currently a city which has the most number of malls in the world. Thus impact on land subsidence 10-20 cm every year.

"Don't make mistake anymore. Social and environment carrying capacity should be considered before constructing," he asserted.
