Djarot: Damaged Facilities in Monas must Be Repaired Soon

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, visited the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, Tuesday (11/3). In his visit, Djarot saw some facilities and infrastructures that already damaged.
Monas is a landmark of Jakarta. This is a tourist attraction, where its fountains should be re-functioned. Moreover, the dried plants should also be replaced
Hence, he immediately instructed the Monas Technical Management Unit (UPT) to fix such damaged facilities.

He went on the say that those damaged facilities consist of dried plants, less variation, and three fountains malfunctioned. He also hopes, a number of faunas in Monas area could be more nature and have a tourist attraction.
"Monas is a landmark of Jakarta. This is a tourist attraction, where its fountains should be re-functioned. Moreover, the dried plants should also be replaced," he expressed.
He also hoped the Monas UPT could add more faunas, such as bird.
"We can cooperate with Park Dept to realize it," he finished.
