256 Clean Houses in Jakarta Will Receive Award

Award will be given to 265 houses at dense population in five administration areas. It is because the house owners have maintain the cleanliness well.

Two urban villages, Melawai and Senayan are not selected due to in elite category

The assessment is involving local neighborhood unit (RT), PKK, and local figure. Jakarta Provincial Government will also give a television.

Bayu Megantara, Jakarta Head Governance Management Bureau, said that the assessment is based on Governor Instruction No. 164/2015. The selection was done at dense population area, placed on environment street, and have no cleanliness service access from the government.

"Two urban villages, Melawai and Senayan are not selected due to in elite category," he said, Monday (11/9).

The criterias for clean house are having good sanitation, free from trash, free from wild plant, free from sediment, having air ventilation, and having plantation.

Next are no mosquito larvae during last one month, no sick people in last six months, and no smoking people. The house owner should active participating in mass working (kerja bakti) and trash sorting.

"The governor will symbolically give the award," he disclosed.
