Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department is preparing facilities and infrastructures as flood anticipation. It is including vacuum pump vehicle for 4 puddle prone underpasses.

" There are 4 puddle prone underpasses. We'll alert pump vehicles, if the pump planted is not able maximally to minimize puddle ," said Head of Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Idris Daharina Na'abah, Friday (11/13).

Underpasses often inundated are including in Kemayoran. Last year the puddle was up to 1.5 meters. Eventually the machine will pump water to the closest channel so that the road will not stuck.

"All personnel are already standby, including the readiness of machine for evacuation when flood happens," he explained.
