4 Areas in South Jakarta Prone to Flood

There are 4 areas recorded in South Jakarta which are prone to flood. Those areas are Pejaten Timur, Rawa Jati, Jalan Perintis Kebon Baru and Jalan Bukit Duri Timur.

"Rain intensity in Jakarta is still low. So the flood inundating areas in South Jakarta are floodwater from Bogor and Depok crossing in Ciliwung River," explained Head of South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Deddy Budiwidodo, Tuesday (11/17).

Furthermore, he told, to anticipate flood his side is always alerted. But the floodwater has crippled the river that impact on the areas of its side.
