Anticipating flood during rainy season, Jakarta
Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) is preparing 100 refugee camps spread
in 5 municipalities.
Officer will be assigned in each camps to manage logistic of basic needs

Heriyanto acknowledged refugee camps set up at public facilities namely small
mosque, sports hall belongs to Jakarta City Administration.
“Officer will be assigned in each camps to manage
logistic of basic needs,” he said, Thursday (11/19).
Heriyanto added the number of refugee camps could
be added according to its needs in field.
“We’ve prepared hundreds camps if needed, for last
alternative plan we probably utilize school building as camp,” he uttered.
For logistic supply mater, his side will hold a
cooperation with Social Department and private sector and funding by corporate
social responsibility (CSR).
“Those camps set around puddle prone areas such
as in North Jakarta, Kalideres, Cengkareng, Rawajati, Bukit Duri and Gg Arus
Cawang,” he expressed.
