Jakarta Park and Cemetery Department ensured to eliminate the action of cemetery bribery (pungli). One of its effort is gather cemetery attendant in public cemetery (TPU).

No more cemetery bribery

“No more bribery,” said Ratna Diah Kurniati, Head of Jakarta Park and Cemetery, Tuesday (11/24).

She added to dismiss Civil Servant (PNS) who caught cemetery broker.

“Mr Governor told me there are some civil servant who run bribery action through freelancer (PHL),” she expressed.

However, banner of bribery ban had been installed around cemetery area.

Kurniati added that her side will provide free tent, chair yet sound system next year.

“We bear all its cost,” she added.

Therefore, for those residents who want to process cemetery can just come to One Stop Integrated Office (PTSP) in each sub district. As concerning her side has launched Land Cemetery Use Permit (IPTM) online.

“You can process it through online system by paying it per three years. The license cost are varied depend on the cemetery block,” she remarked.
