Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Agency Head, Andri Yansyah conveyed, it was done to follow up Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 33/2020 regarding PSBB Implementation in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta and Pergub No. 41/2020 regarding Imposition of Sanctions Against PSBB Violations in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.

Nakertrans Agency Issues Circular Regarding Payment of THR

"There is a company that is subject to temporary suspension of its activities and fine of Rp 5,000,000 on sudden inspection held on May 18, 2020," he said, Friday (5/22).

From April 14 to May 19, he continued, as many as 1,237 companies have violated PSBB regulations. From that number, 718 companies in excluded sectors with total 87,851 employees have been warned and socialized because they didn't implement a complete health protocol.

"There are also 310 companies in excluded sectors but have permission from Industry Ministry to operate. We give them warning and coaching because didn't implement complete health protocol," he explained.

According to him, most of companies who violate PSBB regulations didn't limit their employees. Thus physical distancing couldn't be applied well.

Health protocol can be effective if it is done with 3 limitations, by limiting employees, work hours, and operational facilities.

"Even though they have provided thermal gun, hand sanitizer, sprayed disinfectant regularly and their employees wear masks, but if they don't apply any limitation, then their efforts to prevent COVID-19 transmission will be wasted," he closed.
