Trees Along Jalan Pos Kota and Jelambar Baru Pruned

Tens of trees along Jalan Pos Kota and Jelambar Baru were pruned. 

The complaints are various. It is just because of limited personnel, so we cannot be rushing yet should be slowly

Head of West Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Christian HT stated that there were about 30 trees pruned. It was a follow-up from residents complaint through Qlue application or letter. 

"Some of them requested the pruning because the trees covered the street lights, while the others requested it because of covering the road sign," he stated, Thursday (11/26). 

3 Trees in Ulujami Pruned

According to him, there were so many complaints reported to the sub-department. But due to limited personnel, it is done with priority. 

"The complaints are various. It is just because of limited personnel, so we cannot be rushing yet should be slowly," he explained. 

He told that the pruning was only done by 8 freelancers divided into two teams. Two areas are prioritized locations since there are many old trees. 

"Those areas are Taman Sari and Grogol Petamburan, but if we have many pruning team, they could be spread in other locations. Hence, I've proposed that the personnel number to be added next year," he closed.
