65 Public Transports in South Jakarta Ticketed

To prevent accident back to happen on railway crossing, South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department held public transports raid near Tebet, Kalibata Train Station, and Jalan Poltangan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

There are 50 public transports ticketed and 15 grounded

Besides railway crossing, the raid was also held in Blok M, Manggarai, and Pasar Minggu Terminal.

Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Priyanto stated that the operation was held to prevent public transports riding carelessly and violating rules.

"There are 50 public transports ticketed and 15 grounded," he said, Monday (12/7).

He told that most of the drivers were ticketed due to riding carelessly and having incomplete vehicles documents also stopping on railway crossing that could be dangerous for passengers.

"We'll hold the raid routinely and not hesitate to take firm action against violating public transports," he asserted.
