PKL on Pratekan Riverbank will Be Arranged

A number of street vendors occupying illegal buildings on Pratekan Riverbank, Rawamangun Urban Village, East Jakarta, will be arranged.

But first we'll demolish the buildings since they're not appropriate with the arrangement

Pulogadung Sub-District Head, Ahmad Hariadi stated that those semi-permanent buildings that all this time used by the street vendors will be controlled. They will be recorded then given Bank DKI account for paying the autodebet retribution.

"For those on Pratekan river will be arranged. They want temporary location to be guided by East Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Sub-Department. But first we'll demolish the buildings since they're not appropriate with the arrangement," he explained, Tuesday (12/8).

He told that eventually the stalls will not be semi-permanent as now. Not only the illegal buildings controlled, public fishing location will also be controlled.
