PKL Prevention, 50 Satpol PP Personnel Deployed in Monas

A total of 50 Satpol PP officers were deployed to guard National Monument from being occupied by street vendors (PKL). Moreover, as many as 60 PKLs that selling at east gate (Gambir Station), Pertamina and IRTI area will be curbed soon.

We will curb them later because National Monument area should be free from PKL

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yadi Rusmayadi said, especially on Saturday and Sunday, he added the number of Satpol PP personnel between 250 - 400 personnel to guard the area from 4 PM - 8 PM.

"Yes we know about 60 PKLs were existed in 3 points. We will curb them later because National Monument area should be free from PKL," he said, Wednesday (8/12).

Meanwhile in IRTI, a total of 339 PKLs that is assisted by Central Jakarta Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Sub-Department are trading in Lenggang Jakarta area.

At the past time, the PKL in Monas could reached 1,000, but after routinely curbed, there are only left 60 PKLs .
