Constructing Democracy Plaza, City to Involve CSR

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to build a Democracy Plaza for demonstration at State Palace. To realize it, the government will involve Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from a private company.

Of the total area 800 meters, part of it will be decorated with park as the greening

The plaza will be built on a 800-meter land on Southwest side of Monas, Central Jakarta. As planned, to accommodate demonstration action, the plaza will be equipped with sound system, podium as high as 1,5 m and public toilet.

Head of Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department, Ratna Dyah Kurniati stated, her side has made the plaza design. Aside that, the location will also be decorated with park so that it keeps beautiful.

"Of the total area 800 meters, part of it will be decorated with park as the greening," she explained, Wednesday (12/9).

According to her, eventhough it has been designed, her side has not calculate the construction budget. Because she plans to give the design to company willing to construct it.

"We're still looking for CSR of company willing. Yet, it is targeted to be built in January," she uttered.
