PPKK Expected to Grant a Land for PKL Relocation

A land for arranging street vendors located at Block B1 of Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPKK), Central Jakarta keeps being accelerated. But the loaning time is only 3 years. 

It's given time limit until 3 years only . But we hope the land to be granted. The arrangement is targeted to be done in Feburary

Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin stated the land is supposed to be granted to Jakarta Provincial Government. Because it will make the area more beautiful with the arranged street vendors. 

"It's given time limit until 3 years only. But we hope the land to be granted. The arrangement is targeted to be done in Feburary" he told, Sunday (12/13). 

Next Week, 222 Illegal Buildings at Gang Laler will Be Demolished

 

According to him, the area will eventually be made as one of arrangement models for low economic trader in Jakarta. Moreover, currently street vendor relocation is often hampered by minimum land. 

"The location is ready. The tent can already be installed and they are only charged by Rp 3,000 per day of Bank DKI debit. Besides disturbing, trading on road would also be charged more expensive to oknum (individual)," he explained.
