21 Public Transports Detained Due to Failed on KIR

We do comprehensive raid also conduct roadworthy test

A number of 21 public transports were detained the operation for failing a roadworthy test (KIR) during the raid conducted by Central Jakarta Transportation Sub Department (Sudinhubtrans) in Dukuh Atas, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Henry Perez Sitorus, Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub Department stated the detail public transports are 7 metromini (mini buses) 12 Kopaja buses, 1 tourist bus and a cab.

Perez added the effort was done to minimize accident case due to unroadworthy vehicle yet provide safety over passengers.

“We do comprehensive raid also conduct roadworthy test,” he expressed.

Perez continued that several violations found such as malfunction speedometer and hand brake, off brake lamp and incomplete vehicle documents.

“This so terrible, dangerous,” he stressed.
