The street vendors of Pasar Gembrong, East Jakarta will be relocated in the near time after the socialization was done by head of urban village and sub-district.

Together with Satpol PP personnel, we’ll relocate them

Arfian, East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Cooperative, Micro Small and Middle Enterprise and Trade (KUMKMP), said there are 100 vendors selling along Jalan DI Panjaitain and Basuki Rahman. They occupy the park and sidewalk.

“Together with Satpol PP personnel, we’ll relocate them,” he said, Monday (12/14).

According to him, the street vendor of Pasar Gembrong relocation had been discussed in a city-level meeting.

“It is planned that relocation will be held before Christmas. Relocation is only applied for vendors who occupy the social and public facility. The relocation place is in PD Pasar Jaya Cipinang Besar,” he uttered.
