Following findings of rotten chicken case in East Jakarta, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama directly instructed the headmen to be more concerned their environment.

"I'm instructing the headmen to report to me if they find rotten chicken in their respective areas. If they ignored, I will demote them," expressed Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/15).

As reported before, East Jakarta Police raided two chicken slaughterhouses on Monday (12/14). Supardi, (38), one of slaughterhouse owners, admitted has pioneered rotten chicken business for eight months.

He bought rotten chicken from a chicken shelter in Jati area, Pulogadung and sold at Klender Market, Duren Sawit.
