Rotten Chicken Case, Monitoring in Chicken Slaughterhouses Intensified

East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-Department is going to intensively monitor several chicken slaughterhouses in East Jakarta.

We’ll conduct intensive monitoring and keep an eye on slaughterhouse for the sake of customer’s protection


It is done to respond rotten chicken case in 2 illegal slaughterhouses at Jalan Rawa Sumur Barat, Pulogadung Industry area, Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta on Monday (12/14).


"We’ll conduct intensive monitoring and keep an eye on slaughterhouse for the sake of customer’s protection,” said Bayu Sari Hastuti, Head of East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department.

However, Hastuti added, the monitoring and examination will be conducted at night as concerning the distribution and slaughtering of chicken conducted at the same time before being marketed in morning.
