1,000 Companies Have Not Registered BPJS of Employment

There are still many companies in West Jakarta have not registered to Employment Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).

I think with the total of 4,200 companies is pretty good, as the rests of 1,000 companies will follow it later

As recorded by West Jakarta Employment and Transmigration Sub-Department, 1,000 out of 4,200 companies have not joined in BPJS.

"I think with the total of 4,200 companies is pretty good, as the rests of 1,000 companies will follow it later," said Head of West Jakarta Employment and Transmigration Sub-Department, Suhari, when answering question from Manado DPRD members regarding the mechanism of contract workers in developing West Jakarta, Tuesday (12/15).

Companies Asked to Give Opportunities for Disabled People

According to him, his side will keep doing supervision towards all companies both those have registered or not. The supervision itself is done by Working Safety and Health Team (K3).

"Commonly companies in West Jakarta are service and flight companies," he told.

Previously the government was visited by Working Commission of Legislative Council (DPRD) of Manado, North Sulawesi, to find out how is waste management and developing infrastructures with contract workers in West Jakarta.
