Residents who live around Jalan Kembang III, Kwitang Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta are complaining about buildings standing on water channel which have not been demolished until this time. Whereas, the building owners have been socialized before.

"They had been given appeal letter, but there is no action afterward," complained Zainal (32), one of the locals, Wednesday (12/16).
According to Zainal, if it continues like that, the building will hamper the channel flow. Thus cause flood in the residential.

"We'll command the urban village head to check the letter. The buildings are supposed to be demolished as they can't stand on water channel," he disclosed.
