Jl Mangga Besar Raya Inundated Up to 15 Cm

Rain that poured the capital city since morning has left puddles in some roads in West Jakarta. One of them is Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, Taman Sari. Water level is predicted to reach 15 cm. The condition makes a long traffic jam.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, the worst puddles seen from Mangga Besar IV archway, RT 05/02 until intersection of Jalan Gajah Mada.

"Such location is indeed prone to puddle since ten years ago. I have sent 25 PPSU personnel to the field," said Head of Taman Sari Urban Village, Simon Arfandi, Wednesday (12/16).

Arfandi added, besides cleaning up puddles, a few officers are currently focused on water channel cleaning at some points.
