Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asked college students to follow the struggle of national figure MH Thamrin in arrangin villages in Jakarta.

As Betawian national figure, Djarot said, MH Thamrin was wellknown firm encouraging infrastructures improvement in Jakarta during Holland occupation.
"At his age, MH Thamrin reminded that Jakarta was a big village which need to be fixed. With that foundation is the shared idea to realize his spirit," he said when welcoming Education Foundation of MH Thamrin, Thursday (12/17).
Djarot: Destroy the Unroadworthy MetrominiHe expressed embodiment MH Thamrin's spirit could be realized through citizens dedication, especially arrangement of slum villages in Jakarta.
"There is still citizens dedication program the good one is village arrangement in Jakarta. During Field Work Experience (KKN), they are encouraged to go down to slum residential, fix water channel, build public toilet, and any kind of village arrangement," he explained.
