15 RWs in Cempaka Putih Prone to Flood

As many as 15 community units (RW) in Cempaka Putih Sub-District, Central Jakarta are categorized as flood-prone areas. The areas location which are basin shaped makes water disposal flow is little bit hampered.
Officers readiness have also been organized to coordinate flood and refugee handling later
Cempaka Putih Sub-District Head, Lola Lovita stated that Cempaka Putih Barat and Cempaka Putih Timur urban villages are the most flood potential.
"So today as many as 4 refuge locations, public kitchen, and medical post have been prepared, one at the sub-district office and 3 others at each urban village office," she stated, Friday (12/18).
9 Areas Predicted to Free from FloodCurrently, Lola said, some facilities and flood handling infrastructures have also been prepared. Including rubber boats, buoy jackets, refuge tents and kitchen equipments stored in each urban village hall.
