Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama Tjahaja asserted fund transactions of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) never offline.

This was proven as the system is connected with the banking system that can be used in store that have Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine.

"That’s just modus," he said at Jakarta Legislative  Council  Building, Saturday (12/19).

Basuki indicated, there are unruly stores that sell school supplies or KJP holder. As the following of three percent of KJP holder remain doing irregularity.

"We investigate it thoroughly yet detect three percent of KJP holder remains doing irregularity,” he uttered.

Basuki surely will give strict punishment against unruly KJP holder and store. "The sanction are revocation of its card and closing store," said Basuki.

Education Department have already conducted raid against stores that provide cash withdrawal services of KJP fund. These stores to cut 10 percent of the funds disbursed.
