Anticipate Metromini's Strike, 11 School Buses Alerted

The Terminal Technical Management Unit (UPT) of Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishubtrans) alerted teens of school buses to anticipate stranded passenger. The effort was taken as following strike action taken by Metromini (mini bus) drivers in Blok M Terminal, South Jakarta.

We’ve alerted 11 school buses in Blok M Terminal and also coordinate with nearest Autobus Company (PO) to operate their stock of fleet in case of emergency

“We’ve alerted 11 school buses in Blok M Terminal and also coordinate with nearest Autobus Company (PO) to operate their stock of fleet in case of emergency,” said AB Nahor, Head of Terminal Technical Management Unit (UPT) of  Dishubtrans when was met at Blok M Terminal, Monday (12/21).

Nahor stated the current situation in Blok M Terminal is still quite from passengers due to many alternative public transports they took. “Passengers seem smarter now to find the alternative public transports,” he uttered.

Metromini Drivers Go on Strike, Passengers in Blok M Terminal Neglected

Nahor further said that his party informed passengers repeatedly to find alternative public transports by using loudspeaker. As because no buses operating until now.

“Here are several Metromini routes go on the strike; Metromini 610 (Blok M-Pondok Labu), Metromini 77 (Blok M-Ragunan), Metromini 72 (Blok M- Lebak Bulus), Metromini 74 (Blok M-Rempoa) and Metromini 611 (Blok M-Pasar Jumat).
