Metromini Drivers Go on Strike, Passengers in Blok M Terminal Neglected

The strike action taken by Metromini bus drivers in Blok M Terminal, South Jakarta is protested by the passengers. At least, it will have an impact on five routes.  

I usually ride the Metromini 72 bus heading to Lebak Bulus. But I have no choice and had to ride ojek (motorcycle taxi)

Priyanto, (19), one of passengers said, due to strike action, he is difficult to grab Metromini 610 (Blok M-Pondok Labu) to get her office in Fatmawati area.

“I usually arrive in Blok M Terminal at 7 AM and then ride the bus. But now, I had to find another alternative,” he expressed, Monday (12/21).

Similar statement also conveyed by Eva (30) who wants to go to her office in Pondok Indah area. “I usually ride the Metromini 72 bus heading to Lebak Bulus. But I have no choice and had to ride ojek (motorcycle taxi),” she complained.

Based on the latest information gathered, there are several Metromini routes go on the strike. They are Metromini 610 (Blok M-Pondok Labu), Metromini 77 (Blok M-Ragunan), Metromini 72 (Blok M- Lebak Bulus), Metromini 74 (Blok M-Rempoa) and Metromini 611 (Blok M-Pasar Jumat).

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's watch list, although many Metromini bus drivers go on the strike, but terminal is still quite from passengers. It is predicted terminal would be crowded at office end-hour.
