Basuki: For Me, Every Day is Mother's Day

After being declared by Founding Father, President Soekarno through President Decree No.318/1959, Indonesian people began to celebrate Mother’s Day, which falls on December 22. But unlike the case of the words stated by Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, for him, the Mother's Day is every day.

For me, every day is Mother’s Day

For me, every day is Mother’s Day,” he said, when he became a ceremony inspector of Morther’s Day Commemoration in Monas, Tuesday (12/22).

In the 87th Mother’s Day, he does not prepare special gifts for his mother, Buniarti Ningsih. “Honestly, I haven’t prepare any ritual or gift for my mother. I just hold the commemoration for reminding youth generation to be more aware,” he uttered.
