East Jakarta KPKP to Investigate Rotten Chicken Collectors

East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security is going to investigate syndicate of rotten chicken collectors. It is after the finding tens of rotten chicken in chicken shelter during a raid in Pisangan Timur, last Tuesday (12/22).

Everyday rotten chickens are picked from shelter, we don't know what are they for. Whether being processed  for catfish food or resold mixed with normal broiler chickens

"Everyday rotten chickens are picked from shelter, we don't know what are they for. Whether being processed  for catfish food or resold mixed with normal broiler chickens," said Head of  East Jakarta KPKP Sub-Department, Bayu Sarihastuti, Wednesday (12/23).

The investigation is conducted along with police officers. Particularly chicken slaughterhouse located at Sluice Gate of Jati Urban Village, Pulogadung. Because from this place rotten chicken case came up and police raided 2 chicken shelters in Pulogadung Industrial area two weeks ago.

96 Rotten Chicken Confiscated in Pisangan Timur

"Whole rotten chicken must be destroyed at Cakung Animal Slaughterhouse. No more rotten chickens distributed to irresponsible sides," he disclosed.
