Preventing Rotten Chicken, Sudden Inspection in Central Jakarta Intensified

A sudden inspection will be intensified in some markets regarding the raid against rotten chicken (ayam tiren) sale at Jalan Rawa Sumur Barat, Pulogadung Industry area, Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta, yesterday.

Head of Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-Department, M Muljadi said that besides intensifying the inspection, his side will also hold socialization about rotten chicken.

" This year, we have held socialization for 4 times in traditional and modern markets ," he said, Tuesday (12/15).

He added, so far, his side has never found such chicken in markets in Central Jakarta. He only found unworthy and formalined chicken.

"We found the chicken at Palmerah Market. And yesterday we have held socialization of safe, healthy, intact, and halal chicken," he added," he disclosed.
