Folk Party to Enliven New Year's Eve

West Jakarta Administration is about to hold folk party in order to welcome New Year celebration on the courtyard of Mayor Office Building, Block B, Jalan Puri Kembangan.

We plan to hold folk party but it remains enlivened with various entertainments, mask dance, gambang kromong music, dangdut and firework

Deputy Mayor of West Jakarta, M Zen disclosed, folk party placement is aimed to anticipate mass convoy on the highway and excessive party.

"We plan to hold folk party but it remains enlivened with various entertainments, mask dance, gambang kromong music, dangdut and firework," he stated, Monday (12/28).

He disclosed his side is still conducting follow-up meeting regarding concept and event schedule.

"Temporarily, we already prepare one big stage in the Mayor office, while the event schedule and its technical are still discussing," he expressed.

Regarding traffic and parking lot, his side has involved West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department and local police.

"Learning from last year, there are some roads that will be closed, yet its location will still be discussed in the meeting today," he finished.
