Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama revealed the performance of echelon-II officials is already good so far. Even, he is now confused looking for a reason to demote them. Nevertheless, if they do mistake, they will be demoted.

"Today, we will not reshuffle echelon-II officials. They are safe, despite the performance is not good all. The important thing is they still comply with the rules. If not, we will demote them," he said, at City Hall, Thursday (1/7).

At this time, he has had his own way of assessing the performance of civil servants, which is by filling the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). "We have the KPI as a report of civil servant, especially for echelon I and II officials," he expressed.

He asked civil servants to work hard, because he has data of unruly employees to be demoted.

"Thus far, some employees are potentially promoted to echelon II. So, just compete each other," he closed.
