Basuki: Tourism Department Head 's Perfomance is Good

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama assessed that performance of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department Head, Purba Hutapea is already good. In fact, he said, Purba succeeds to save budget in the Regional Working Unit (SKPD) he leads.

"The department head is doing well. Indeed sometimes his subordinates have so many affairs. Actually he's a kind person, but sometimes a kind person could not manage the subordinates," said Ahok at City Hall, Friday (11/27).

He uttered, before sweeping KUA-PPAS, Purba succeeded to save budget up to Rp 700 billion that formerly Rp 1,3 trillion. Then during the sweeping, it could be minimized again. "Actually he has cut budget about Rp 700 billion. But when I was checking it I told him to minimize it up tp Rp 300 billion and he said he will try it and cut up to Rp 180 billion," he explained.

He acknowledged official with that kind of performance will still be retained first. However, they are asked to dismiss officials under of them which are echelon III and IV.

"That kind of official will be retained first but we'll help them to dismiss the echelon III and IV. We're going to observe which the unruly ones until the end of December," he uttered.
