One of the things done by Basuki is by encouraging PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to keep working on renovation of the Velodrome.

He was disappointed because PT Jakpro not conduct auction since last year. Thus, the renovation only has time 20 months.
"Progress must go through auction, but why they did not do it since last year. That's why I was upset," he expressed.
He acknowledged that he deliberately appointed Jakpro to speed up the renovation. If the auction is through Jakarta BPPBJ, it will take a long time.
"I chose them because they are flexible, more professional, smarter, have high salary, etc, but please your understanding. I have given a clue, if you give up, just resign," he closed.
