Personnel of Dept. of Transportation together with Satpol PP are deployed to guard the Monas entrances which are used as illegal parking and street vendors.
We deploy 4 personnel of ours and added with Satpol PP
It is hoped the guard will prevent illegal parking and street vendor selling around Monas.
The guarded entrances are Silang Monas Timur Laut, Silang Monas Barat Laut, Silang Merdeka Barat Daya, Silang Monas Tenggara, and Parkir Timur Monas. The personnel will guard starting from morning to night.

“We deploy 4 personnel of ours and added with Satpol PP,” she said, Tuesday (1/12).
According to her, the parking will be directed to Istiqlal Mosque, Gambir Station, Indosat Building, and Parkir Timur Monas.
“Coordination has been made with the buildings around Monas to prepare parking lot, while Satpol PP will handle the street vendors,” she closed.
