City Administration Supports Velodrome Acceleration

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat led coordination meeting related to acceleration of Asian Games 2018 venues construction in Jakarta. Based on the meeting, Jakarta Provincial Government supports the acceleration of venues.

There is no problem with equestrian. It is targeted to finish in 2017

According to him, velodrome construction process is given to PT Jakpro and targeted to finish in February 2018.

“There is no problem with equestrian. It is targeted to finish in 2017. But velodrome is a little bit complicated,” he said, Wednesday (1/13).

Jakarta Focuses on Preparation of Infrastructures For 2018 Asian Games

The construction needs technical specification for its cycling arena and recommendation from Indonesia Cycling Sport (ISSI) and United Cycle International (UCI).

“We have issued governor regulation to smooth the process. It must be finished in February 2018,” he closed.
