According to Pasar Minggu Sub-District Election Committee (PPK), Ahmad Fuad, for upcoming legislative election on April 9, PPK Pasar Minggu noted there is increase in the amount of voters candidate for five percent. KPU: Citizens Outside Jakarta Can Still Vote in JakartaFuad said the amount of voters can still increase if voters still propose the A5 form before the election day. To get the A5 form, voters must already registered in Permanent Voters List (DPT) issued by General Election Commission (KPU).
"Besides that, voters must also bring notification letter from college or office. For individuals from other regions, we will check their NIKs in online KPU DPT,” he uttered.
For information, A5 form is a form to transfer polling area from original location. It can be obtained by asking note from original PPS to be transferred to other polling area. In destination PPS, the A5 form can be submitted three days before voting. With that, voters` names will be included in Additional Voters List (DPTb).
Regarding the simulation, it is carried out by 100 people. The simulation starts from waiting, taking ballots, voting in voting booths, putting ballots to the box, until putting fingers into ink as a proof the voters have used their voting rights. In Pasar Minggu Sub-District alone there are 541 TPSs spread in seven urban villages.
South Jakarta Mayor Syamsudin Noor, who attended this simulation, said this event is held to stimulate the citizens to remember the right way to vote.
