RW in Tambora Will Have Fire Panic Button

Tambora Sub-District launched Fire Panic Button system at RW 02, Jembatan Besi, West Jakarta. Later on, similar system will be applied to whole RW in Tambora.
260 Fire Extinguisher Equipments DistributedThe Fire Panic Button is an alert system when fire happens . Upon receiving the report, the button which is located in RW office will be directly pressed and warn residents in case of fire.
Chief of Tambora Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Wirdhanto Hadicaksono disclosed the system in Tambora is very important. It can make local resident to conduct evacuation quickly during fire incident.
"This is like warning alarm, siren will sound to tell citizens about fire," he stated.
He added, the siren performance is able to reach a kilometer-meter radius. Thus, people will hear when the panic button is pressed.
