Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama disclosed, there are 57 puddle-prone areas in the capital. These areas have been mapped since the end of last year.

He asserted, the way that will be taken is by connecting whole water channel in the city, including 13 rivers.

He went on the say that Jakarta Water Management dept also keeps dredging the channel. Because almost channels are full of mud. he cited, some roads covered with channel are in Matraman and Cengkareng.
"Indeed, the main problem is persistent rain and tidal wave in the sea because a 65-kilometer dam is not ready," he finished.
