Basuki Demoted Kartini Urban Village Head

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama ensured the demotion of former Head of Kartini Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Leo Tantino does not only due to falsification of attendance list.

He (Mr. Leo) is still slow in following up on public complaints. That's all there is assessment

He disclosed, based on evaluation result, Mr. Leo is less active in following up on public complaints.

"He (Mr. Leo) is still slow in following up on public complaints. That's all there is assessment," he stressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (1/26).

He also asserted, he did not hesitate to demote civil servants who falsify attendance. He asked, other employees to report if they see the case.

"Indeed, most employees are working until night but don't falsify attendance. This is about honesty," he stressed.

As known, Mr. Leo was demoted due to falsification of attendance list. Basuki also had appointed the Head of Government Section for Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Samuel, to replace him.
