Water Channel at Jl Plumpang Semper Drained from Mud

A 500-meter long water channel at Jalan Plumpang Semper, Tugu Selatan, Koja were drained by 30 PPSU officers, Wednesday (1/27). Before being drained, the water in the channel often overflowed and inundated the road as high as 15 cm.

Head of Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Tarmad disclosed puddle on Jl Plumpang Semper is caused by two channels cannot accommodate water in large quantities due to mud.

"Due to this condition, the PPSU officer cannot clean up the channel optimally," he expressed, Wednesday (1/27).

Since three days ago, the officer is still draining the south side of the channel.

"By doing so, the channel can accommodate water in large quantities and minimize puddle. Hopefully, the draining could be complete in a week," he hoped.
