This Afternoon, Pioneer Ship in Seribu Islands Launched

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama and Transportation Minister, Ignasius Jonan, Thursday (1/28) this afternoon, plan to inaugurate the launching of pioneer ship, KM Sabuk Nusantara 46 in Kade Baru Timur Pier, Sunda Kelapa Port, North Jakarta.

The ship is already available since Saturday (1/23), but we will inaugurate it this afternoon along with Transportation Minister and Jakarta Governor

Formerly, Head of Communication and Information Bureau, Transportation Ministry, JA Barata disclosed that the KM Sabuk Nusantara 46 ship type 200 DWT has a length of 40 meters and 114 people capacity . PT Pelni will operate the ship.

According to him, for ship route operational, his party has budgeted Public Service Obligation (PSO) by Rp 5.9 billion from DIPA in Sunda Kelapa Unit for Directorate General of Sea Transportation. Ship route will take from Sunda Kelapa Port-Untung Jawa Island-Pranuka Island-Tidung Island-Kelapa Island and vice versa.
