Election Day, TransJakarta Operates as Usual

The legislative election today, Wednesday (4/9), is guaranteed will not disturb TransJakarta bus operational in 12 corridors. Even so, TransJakarta officers can still use their voting rights because their working shifts will be shortened.

In the election day, TransJakarta operates normally from 5 AM until 10 PM

Head of TransJakarta Public Relations Service Unit, Sri Ulina Pinem, explained that working hours of first shift are shortened from 5 AM-1 PM becomes 5-10 AM, second shift from 1-4 PM becomes 10 AM-4 PM, while third shift remains at 4-10 PM.

In the election day, TransJakarta operates normally from 5 AM until 10 PM. However, the officers are given chance to use their voting rights by implementing accelerated shifts done in stages. No need to worry because TransJakarta buses continue to operate normally. The only thing changed is the shift mechanism,” she stated, Tuesday (4/8).
